High Probability Stock Investing

Unless something drastic happens in the next hour and a half, we can expect to buy into the market at lower prices.

Today we had yet another reversal day. This is the third one in the last two weeks. The question is though, will the markets show some follow through tomorrow and validate this one. The previous two didn't exhibit any follow through and the markets laughed and kept chugging higher. The Nasdaq composite index finally touched the 3,000 level today, it's 2008 highs. The stock markets have the tendency to be one big waiting game and wait we will. Tomorrow will be interesting to see what happens. The odds of probability are greater than 50% that we will have a follow through to lower prices, but, no one knows for absolutely sure. Only time will tell, and until then keep tuned and stay with HPSI.......

Well the US markets keep chugging along. Gains do seem to be harder to come by as we are near or exceeding historical highs, as we see with the Nasdaq Index. No predictions to be made here other than it is guaranteed to have some semblance of a profit taking pull back sooner or later. Then it would be prudent for me to put new money to work, at the lower prices. Certainly not now. Only time will tell and when that happens, the market will be happy to tell us.

This stock market has exhibited really great momentum and it keeps churning higher. The bulls will not have anything to do with any pullback. Even the slightest selling has investors buying on the dip in price. Happy Days.

It seems as if we have a roll over from the near term high prices.Yesterday was what is called by some as a daily price momentum reversal day. The computer selling started on Wed. and Wed. was a bearish breadth day, even though there was a strong up move into the close. Yesterday at precisely 12 Noon, to the second, and after a noted TV analyst talked as how Apple was near bubble burst, going up 16 pts. during the morning.
all heck broke out, the markets sold off hard, computer stops were triggered like fireworks going the wrong way. Today should be lower as well, if there is any follow through. It's only a couple of days but noted none the less....

I'll get right to the chase, without market mumbo jumbo...I would not be surprised to see a short term pullback. My analysis is stating just that. Do I see panic selling ? No. Just a healthy time of profit taking, setting up for an opportunity to put cash to work. A slight pullback would be healthy for the markets, all global markets.
The bullish trend is going strong, we're just up against a ceiling of an area of historically high prices. Except the technology driven Nasdaq index, this has vaulted to substantially new highs, but quite extended and a breather may be in order.

Good morning!
The VXX which is the symbol for the S&P 500 short term futures ETF (Exchange Traded Fund) has started a 60 min. chart uptrend as of the open today. The VXX has an inverse correlation to the S&P 500 Index. Most of the time, when the S&P goes up the VXX goes down and vice versa, now I said most of the time. In previous posts i mentioned that investor sentiment had swung slightly bearish with my software analysis. Meaning that as the S&P had powered higher, the VXX was also making bullish progress. Investor behavior was changing. I have started a call option position in VXX. As of this writing it has progressed 3.55% from today's open.
